I’m a Lucky Dog!

Posted by on January 12, 2014

Friday morning daddy got up and started cooking right off the bat. He’s making a beef stew for dinner and chicken noodle soup for lunch. Mommy has this thing about chicken noodle soup, she will be happy. Wednesday night daddy cooked steaks out on the grill. There was left over stakes, this morning daddy decided to cut them up, add some vegetables, and make a stew. Somehow daddy managed to accidentally drop a piece of steak in front of my nose. Latter he dropped a carrot as well. I ate the stake and left the carrot. I’m sure if I wait long enough I will get more of the steak. I’m more into the beef than the stew.

For breakfast daddy made toast and eggs. Of course Aunt Linda shared with us and daddy let me clean his plate for him. I’m a great dish washer even if it is a paper plate.

Aunt Linda shared both the chicken noodle soup and the beef roast with us. Aunt Linda always makes sure we get a taste. That causes problems went Aunt Linda is eating when daddy wants to go to bed. I am torn between my love of my daddy and the temptation of treats from Aunt Linda.

On Saturday most of daddy’s sisters came over and daddy grilled pork chops, corn on the cob, and French fries. Needless to say we all got a taste. Latter both daddy and mommy took me and Angle out for a short walk. It’s been a long time since mommy has come with us. I am glad to see her getting out more.

This morning daddy reheated one of the pork chops for breakfast. He couldn’t eat it all so Angel and I got to share what daddy couldn’t eat. After breakfast daddy and mommy laid down for a nap neither of them are feeling very good, so we all went back to bed. I can’t wait to see what we do for dinner tonight. I know it will be good because it always is. My daddy is a good cook He just needs to learn to share more.
