Autumn's first walk in the snow

Autumn’s first walk in the snow

I woke up to a wonderful early Christmas gift this morning SNOW! Not quite enough to play in but it is still falling. Autumn’s not sure about all this but I love it. One more reason we need to move away from Las Vegas. As if we needed any more reasons.

Yep, at 6:00 AM Vegas time the Autumn alarm went off waking us from a sound sleep. Daddy crawled out of bed so we could take him out for his morning PT unaware of what this great new day had to offer. As soon as the door opened my eyes were filled with such a glorious sight. A fresh field of white as far as I could see. For a moment I thought that maybe I had died and gone to heaven but then I snapped out of my trance and admitted there wasn’t enough snow for this to be heaven.

Snow makes everything look better even the SUV isn’t as ugly when covered by an inch or more of snow. Even as I sit here next to my daddy typing this post for my blog, I can look out the window and see the dusting of snow on the ground and watch as a light snow fall continues to drift down from the sky. To think my daddy honestly thinks that rain is just melted snow. The education in this country is in such a sorry state. Then again as we all know since his stroke daddy hasn’t been in his right mind.

Snow is Mother Nature in her most beautiful white dress. Such a beautiful sight. I can lay here for hours just looking out the back doors at it. I guess daddy’s not going to have to drive us up to the mountains after all.
