Who are you and what have you done with my daddy

This morning mommy woke daddy early before the Autumn alarm went off. Daddy put us out back even though neither of us asked to go out. Then he left us in outer darkness. After hours of trying to get to the light mommy let us back in out of the darkness and into the light. Once inside we found daddy moving and stacking furniture while mommy was trying to fix the floor bather. That’s o.k. moving things is a daddy’s job. Then it got weird daddy got out the vacuum and started to chase me all over the house. Mommy is the iCat, mommy, not daddy should be doing the cleaning. We should still be in bed sleeping with our daddy and he shouldn’t be chasing us around with the vacuum.

I want to know what happened to my daddy and who is this imposter chasing us.

After a while he gave up and put the vacuum away. In the meantime, mommy is being her iCat self; scrubbing and mopping all the floors.

With the floors wet the imposter is stuck in the living room sitting on the only piece of furniture not covered by other furniture. Now he is attempting to behave like my daddy and cuddle with me on the couch. Should I run?

I want my real daddy back so we can go back to bed and get a few more hours of much needed sleep before the Autumn alarm goes off.

It’s still an hour until the Autumn is set to go off and we are being taken on our daily walk by this man. No one and nothing is awake out here not even our doggy friends. This is one boring walk with no one to bark to.  Other than the early hour. He’s acting more like my daddy. I wonder what could have happened to affect him so much. I’ve heard that the longer people are married the more they start to act like each other. Maybe daddy is becoming an iCat like mommy. I hope not I want it to go the other way around. I don’t need any iCats in my life. Hopefully he was just temporarily sick in the head after all we know the stroke affected his right mind.
